Due to the efforts of Falun Gong practitioners in cities all over the world, many people have become aware of the terrible situation facing those who practice Falun Gong in China. One of the most commonly asked questions is “How can I help?” There are several things you can do:
Talk to people
Many people still do not know about Falun Gong and how practitioners are being tortured and killed in China. Many more have no idea that an insidious persecution targeting practitioners is taking place outside of China, especially in the United States and other countries with economic ties to China. Please inform your friends, family, and colleagues and ask them to discuss this issue with their associates.
Some people are aware of the persecution but unfortunately believe some of the negative propaganda about Falun Gong being spread to the international media by the Chinese Communist Party. FoFG urges you to find out the facts for yourself and encourage these people to do the same.

Join FoFG and receive our email updates and action alerts. Membership is free.

Take action
Please visit the Act Now section of our website, where you can sign a petition or send a letter. Handwritten letters to elected officials have proven to be very effective.
One of the most powerful things you can do is to contact media. Send a letter to the editor of your local paper, or send a note into the major news websites such as CNN, MSNBC or the New York Times and ask them to cover the story.
Lastly, you’re always welcome to make a financial contribution if you can afford to do so. We are an organization with a small, all-volunteer staff and no overhead costs, so all the funds we receive go directly into our work. We help to fund efforts of Falun Gong-related organizations as well as sponsor lawsuits, print materials, and support a host of projects targeted to raising awareness of our issue.
