The Falun Gong
All people everywhere desire peace,
Even those who seem so bellicose
Really want this suffering to cease.
Nonetheless this violence won’t decrease,
Skirting round, destroying any hope.
All people everywhere desire peace.
The Falun Gong intended to increase
Their connection, to bring the people close
Such that this suffering would cease.
The Falun Gong sought theirs, and our, release.
They knew the secret of what makes us cope:
All people everywhere desire peace.
If we could but move in a state of ease
If we could move with less sharp a slope
We all could see this suffering would cease.
The cruelty of our broken hearted police
Isn’t enough to beat down this globe.
For all people everywhere desire peace;
All beings want this suffering to cease.
