Flushing Billboard Brightens NY Streets for Chinese New Year
Friends of Falun Gong is sponsoring a billboard display in the heart of Flushing, New York, letting people know that Americans support Falun Gong and freedom of belief. Since 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Flushing have been the subject of attacks by pro-communist mobs. Despite the attacks and repeated death threats from hoodlums in league with the Chinese Consulate, practitioners continue to tend sidewalk displays where they help people withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party, bravely returning to the street every week to record names and statements for those that choose to withdraw from the Party and its affiliated organizations. In response to the attacks, several violent mob leaders have been targeted by a lawsuit supported by Friends of Falun Gong.
