There is Strength in Falun Gong

by Amber Shreves

Lay claim to my body, see if I care
I am indestructible, and you are only scared
This body is a vessel, a casing for my soul
Break what is outside, inside I am whole
It is my love that astounds you, my peace that drives you mad
A bit of hope that is mine, a piece of me that you cannot have
Flood these streets with persecution, and watch me love all the more
Meditation in my soul, stillness, my driving force
Fill your camps with innocence, and even take a life
You cannot take the faith, that lingers deep inside
Cast your vengeance on me now, a fear that all can see
The compassion in my soul is stronger than the hate that you preach
I will always be, but you will fade away
I live on in the hearts of many, and we will have our day
