U.S. Congress Introduces H.Res.932 to End Persecution Against Falun Gong

On June 8, 2018, U.S. Congressional Rep. Dana Rohrabacher introduced House Resolution 932, “Expressing solidarity with the Tuidang Movement whereby Chinese citizens renounce their ties to the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliates, and calling for an immediate end to the campaign to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.”

Notably, the H.Res. 932 resolves “That the House of Representatives—
(1) expresses solidarity with Falun Gong practitioners and their families;
(2) calls upon the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to immediately cease and desist its campaign to persecute Falun Gong; and
(3) expresses support for the Tuidang Movement and their pursuit of a free and democratic government in China.”
